One more time... Victory!
In Torneo Virtuale Italiano 2008 we have confirmed that first place of the 2007. Like the past edition, stress and concentration has been always at maximum levels, but in some situations the relax during the missions has kept us in danger.
Stato Maggiore wants to thank every pilot (and recruits that helped us during the mission planning), who made this possible. Thanks everybody, the Squadron couldn't exist without you!

Golden OlegWe are proud to announce that Flight Sim Machinima staff, that judges Il-2 based movies, awarded our Official Video with a Golden Oleg in cinematography and editing, the virtual counterparty of the more famous Oscar!
It's an honour, a great satisfaction, see our video called as "one of the greats of 2007".
6° Stormo virtuale Diavoli Rossi is proud of this objective and wants to thank everybody, "actors" of the squadron and Machinima staff of course, which helped us to achieve this goal.

Victory! First Place! Torneo Virtuale Italiano 2007 was our first and tangible effort in a major competition. At first we paid too much our inexperience, because we believed it was a tournament based on Air-Air combat, when in fact the ground targets played a role of greater importance. For this reason, undoubtedly, the greatest victory has been able to "change way" of seeing things, adjusting it everytime!
The experience was rewarding, interesting, but especially stressful, because it required testing, testing, testing... that most of the time was somewhat empirical, because of the inability to plan effective countermeasures against the myriad of hypothetical tactics that the enemy could take.
However, despite the stress, this adventure was crucial for us because has consecrated for the first time, a little over a year after our born, a real group, Squadron... Red Devils!
